Melissa Rogers, LMT, NCTMB is a graduate of Health Options Institute in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and has been practicing massage therapy and bodywork since 2004. Her educational background is always expanding to keep up with advancements made in the healing profession. Currently, her specialties include John F. Barnes Myofascial Release (www.myofascialrelease.org), Reiki, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Neuromuscular, Associative Awareness Technique (AAT) (www.wellnessandperformance.com), and Lypossage.
One of Melissa's main goals is to help her clients awaken to their body's innate ability to heal. Healing comes from within! Her intuitive awareness and knowledgeable touch are the forefront of her massages. Many clients report a sense of renewal and reconnection of spirit in addition to the reduction of pain after their massage.

- Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes early to fill out a health history form. If you desire, you can print it out online and bring it with you already completed to your first appointment. Click here to download.
- We will discuss any aches and pains you have and what goals you have for your massage session.
- I will leave the room while you disrobe and get on the massage table. I am trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times.
- If you are getting a Reiki session, wear comfortable clothes for your appointment as they will remain on.
- If you are having Myofascal Release work done, men will need to bring a pair of gym shorts and women will need a bikini, or shorts and a sports bra.
- During your massage it is very important that you keep me informed on the quality of my pressure. Feedback allows me to tailor the massage to your needs. Also let me know if you would like the music, table temperature, or anything else changed so you get the best experience from your massage.
- Relax and enjoy your massage! There is no need to assist me with any movements, as doing so can actually hinder the work I am doing.
- Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns before, during, or after your massage.
- If you arrive late for your massage, you will receive the remainder of your allotted massage time and will be charged for the full session. Please give me a call if you know you will be running late. I may be able to fit your entire session into my schedule.
- Please give a miniumum of 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
- No calls/no shows are responsible for full payment.
- Sexually suggestive remarks or advances will not be tolerated. Doing so will result in immediate termination of your session, and you will be liable for full payment of your session.
- Payment is expected at the time service is rendered. I accept cash and checks only.
- Please turn off your cell phone when you come in to the office.
- Cleanliness is required. Please shower the day of the session.
- For your own comfort, do not eat a heavy meal two hours prior to the session.
- Gratuity is appreciated but not expected. I am honored that you have chosen me as your therapist! Your referrals are the best compliment I can receive!
